WOWSER SEWATHON
Over 50 sewists came together yesterday to make more than 100 dresses for the charity www.dressagirlaroundtheworld In celebration of Felixstowe sewing schools 1st birthday. An amazing day which ran smoothly and joyfully thanks to the incredible generosity of those that gave in both time and fabrics and pennies.

It was lovely to be involved. The whole place was buzzing with enthusiasm all day! Brilliant planning and organising was what made it possible for over 100 dresses to be made. Excellent job Amanda!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Sewathon (as did hubby)- even though I can’t sew! Well done to all involved in a fantastic day. The company, cakes and skills of all involved were immense. Can’t wait to see pics of the girls wearing their dresses xx
